Ben is a highly competent, polite and organised electrician who carried out a major complex domestic electrical refurbishment project for me in a dedicated and highly professional and qualified manner. He is highly solution oriented and provided great advice on lighting fittings when I had been very badly advised by another, helping me to avoid a costly and majorly aesthetic mistake. He also worked with other contractors very well, coordinating appropriately and a great team player. His talent and professionalism means you can trust him to deliver. I first came across Ben and LKB as a landlord when I was trying to get an EICR done on a property I was intending to let. Another registered electrical company had carried out an inspection and told me there were some major problems and they could not issue the appropriate certificate. I was convinced they were wrong. The block of flats was only 30 years old and it was well built. I had a long conversation with Ben, the owner, and he assured me he would carry out a proper investigation which he did in my presence. He proved that the wiring diagram the other firm did was incorrect using his meters. When that firm returned they rechecked their work and had to admit they were wrong and an EICR was issued immediately with no major work required. I always call Ben now because I know he is totally reliable, honest, informative and has a warm friendly approach. ~ Jonathan H

Ben did all electric wiring aspects related to our water underfloor heating. Initially I didn’t realise that this was such a specialised and complex job connecting water cylinder controls to the new manifolds etc so everything syncs together nicely. Woke up to no power to our downstairs sockets. Had tried all the usual and couldn't find the fault. Found Ben on google and he was out within the hour, 45 mins later he had located the fault and got us back up and running.
